In 2019, I was invited by DJ Kinah to be the guest for “Monday Talk” Slot. Speaking on the topic “Juggling between Study and Business” is becoming more demanding for those who really want to be productive and get side income while studying. I was given the respect to share my own experience of handling my family business to the IIUM FM listeners. An hour of the conversation in the radio really impressed the radio announcers itself when they started to know the background of Yati Murtabak Kampung Baru, how my father initiated the name of the company, and how my father inculcated the business skills to my siblings. There were challenges, hurdles, and obstacles to achieve the level that we have in current.

 

   I was taking orders for Murtabak and Popia Murtabak Crunchy among the IIUM community every day. Wednesday is the day that I delivered the orders to the customers. Usually, I will choose Wednesday, 5 PM until 7 PM as my delivery day. All classes should be done before 5 PM (arranged during pre-registration). This shows that I am the well-organized person and goal-oriented person. After I have settled down the delivery, I would focus on my assignments and study until 10 PM. Usually, I slept at 10 PM to stay productive on the next day.
