Research Methodology (2019)

With the group of 4, we are asked to do quantitative research with any topic that was selected under a theme from the 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs). Thus, all of us decided to choose Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being. Our topic was “Factors Influencing the Buying Habits of Bubble Tea among International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) Community.” Why did we choose this topic because that was the time that bubble tea went viral and hype. Everyone was looking for bubble tea for every single day without knowing its consequences.

Hence, we came out with this research in order to (1) to determine the level of awareness of bubble tea among IIUM community; (2) to identify the level of factors influencing buying bubble tea among IIUM community; and (3) to analyse the relationship between selected factors and buying habits of bubble tea among IIUM community. The study tested the theory of consumer purchase decision and employed a quantitative research design using the survey method with the questionnaire as its research instrument for data collection. A total of 400 respondents participated in the study.

I also got the recognition from Professor Saodah Wok where I got the best presenter in class and the best research paper in class. Here, I attached the photos and my research report:
